How is ICON White Spot Treatment Performed?
At the start of this procedure, one of our dental experts will clean and rinse your child's teeth. From there, we will coat the teeth in a special solution, which will also be rinsed off. After that, we'll spread the ICON resin on the teeth. This material, which is kind of runny in texture, will sit on the teeth for a bit while it soaks into the enamel. Dr. Yvonne Felli or Dr. Ajikwaga Felli will shine a light on the ICON to cure and harden it and will polish the teeth using a small handheld device. We may need to repeat these steps to get the desired outcome. This procedure takes between 45 – 60 minutes, and results can last for upward of two or more years. After your child's appointment, you can enjoy the rest of your day!
